Walking The World
Walking the World - Travel, adventure, and life… to me they all go hand in hand.
I’m guessing, that if you’re reading this right now, life is about living fully. It’s about savoring every moment and enjoying every experience. I’m guessing that you also consider yourself one of the “Boomer Generation”!
I’m also thinking that adventure travel, even the thought of it, makes you want to put aside what you’re doing and head for the great outdoors.
Adventure travel, more than any other activity, offers us some of the best opportunities to live life fully, to explore other lands, to experience new cultures, and to make new friends. And, maybe as important as anything, adventure travel opens the doors for us to learn more about ourselves. It stretches us, physically, mentally and emotionally.
Adventure travel is our specialty at Walking The World. It’s our life. It’s what we do, full-time. It’s what we love. It’s our passion.
Since 1987, we’ve been designing and leading adventure travel trips in many different parts of the world. We’ve made many new and lifelong friends and we’re looking forward to meeting those of you who are new to our program.
As we head into a new season of travel, you’ll notice a few changes that we’re excited about and ones we hope you’ll enjoy.
I invite you to travel the planet with me as I share my thoughts and experiences on adventure travel more directly with you through our newsletter. I’ll also be including significantly more content about the latest in outdoor equipment, reviews of the best and latest in outdoor literature and sharing stories of those outstanding adventurous souls I meet in my travels. In fact, speaking of adventurous souls, you might just be one of those I write about. So stay tuned.
We’ll also be offering, for 2007, what we feel is the very best trip offered to the magical world of Costa Rica. And we’re offering a price we hope will entice you to pencil Costa Rica in on your schedule for 2007. We’ll also be adding trips to some of the best of what the European Alps have to offer, including Chamonix in France, Grindelwald and Zermatt in Switzerland, Lech in Austria, Cortina in Italy and Garmish in Germany.
In the end, life and living, and even adventure travel, are all about people. It’s about the experiences we share, the friends we make, the lives we change and the ways we give back to each other and to the planet
I invite you to join us whenever you can. I invite you as well to share your experiences, your thoughts and your dreams with us.
So, lace up those boots, give us a call and join us for the experiences of a lifetime!
In adventure,
