British Colonial Hilton
Dive into the Caribbean Sea from the sun-baked private beach at the Hilton British Colonial hotel. Treat yourself to a body scrub at Azure Spa, work out in the fitness center or laze by the pool. Keep fit with beachfront watersports or refresh in the spa. Spend the day snorkeling at Stuart Coves.
Savor fresh seafood at Portofino Restaurant with ocean views, or try a tropical cocktail from the Patio Bar and Grill.
Situated in Nassau’s financial district, the British Colonial Hilton hotel has 11 meeting rooms for 25-400, an Executive Lounge, and high-speed internet access in all rooms.
From Hilton Guest Rooms to Suites with separate seating areas, all rooms at the Hilton British Colonial hotel have high-speed internet access.
In honor of the new James Bond movie, Casino Royale, the 007 suite at the British Colonial Hilton Nassau will be renovated. Scheduled for completion during the summer of 2007, the one-bedroom suite will reopen to include a martini bar, personalized stationery and a four poster bed, in addition to a collection of classic Bond DVDs, CDs, books, etc. The hotel served as a location during the shooting of both 1965’s “Thunderball” and 1983’s “Never Say Never Again,” and was featured in at least two scenes from “Never Say Never Again.” First, when Sean Connery’s “Bond” checks in at reception, then during an encounter with Kim Basinger’s Domino. The bar, constructed for the movie and left behind by the film crew, remained on property for many years. The suite makeover will be part of the hotel’s complete refurbishment of its executive floor. A total of 21 suites and 26 rooms will be upgraded with Hilton’s new Suite Dreams bed, Serenity Collection linen and amenities, and blackout curtains.
