2007 CMA Music Festival Artist Lineup Grows
Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, LeAnn Rimes, Dierks Bentley, Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson and Rodney Atkins Are Among Artists to Perform
NASHVILLE – The excitement is building for 2007 CMA Music Festival, Thursday-Sunday, June 7-10 in Downtown Nashville as additional artists are added to the performance lineup. Last year more than 161,000 fans attended CMA Music Festival, winner of the International Entertainment Buyers Association’s 2006 LIVE! Award for Festival of the Year. Now in its 36th year, the Festival (formerly known as Fan Fair®) continues to spotlight the unique relationship between Country Music artists and their fans while raising much-needed funds to support music education in Metro Nashville’s public schools through the CMA’s charity campaign “Keep the Music Playing.”
The unique relationship between Country Music artists and their fans is celebrated annually at the CMA Music Festival, and there’s no better testament to that bond than the Fan Fair®. Located at the Nashville Convention Center, the Fan Fair Exhibit Hall allows fans to meet their favorite stars, as well as acts new on the scene and soon to be favorites! The Fan Fair® is also home to the Acoustic Corner performance hall where artists perform intimate, stripped-down sets sure to please the crowd!
Acoustic Corner Stage
This stage is a totally acoustic performance area, which offers independent artists a place to showcase their talent. Only artists participating in the Exhibit Hall portion are eligible to perform.
Music Row
A section of Fan Fair created to offer a snapshot of Nashville’s music industry center dubbed “Music Row.” It provides major record labels the opportunity to promote their artists and label projects to fans, CMA will host a booth in this area that will raise further awareness of Country Music and for artists coming out of Nashville’s Music Row
