Chicagoween - Chicago, Illinois
The Haunted Village at Pumpkin (Daley) Plaza celebrates a decade as the centerpiece of Chicago’s citywide Halloween festivities, CHICAGOWEEN. As part of that celebration and as a nod to Chicago being named the United States Applicant City in the bid for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the citizens of Haunted Village (aka The Midnight Circus) will compete in the Ghostly Games 2007.
The legendary Ghostly Games is a supernatural celebration of gravity defying feats of artistic, athletic, and acrobatic excellence that take place once every 100 years. The Ghostly Games is a spirited competition that pits the international cast of characters against each other in a good natured contest to entertain, educate, and inspire the audience. Acts include: Human Pyramids; Tight wire; Cigar Box Manipulation; Slack rope; Teeterboard; Acrobatic Juggling; Hula Hoops; Hand Balance; Chinese Yo-Yo; Partner Acrobatics; Gym Wheel; Aerial Acrobatics 30 feet above the Plaza; Lola the Performing Pitt Bull; and Boy Elroy as our DJ/Human Beat box/Musical Manipulator extraordinaire.
