Keo’s in Waikiki …
Serving Hawaii Thai food since 1977.

For over three decades restaurateur Keo Sananikone has been at the epicenter of America’s increasing fascination with the cuisine of Thailand. The food from his famed restaurants have attracted Hollywood celebrities, Southeast Asian royalty, and locals in throngs –not with glitz but with savory, exotic Thai and Island flavors. Everyone dines at Keo’s. Keo’s is known as the “In” place for celebrities and “Hawaii’s most popular Thai Restaurant”.

Described as “One of the choicest dining spots in Honolulu” by the international Newsweek magazine and “Ethnic Chic” by GQ magazine. Keo’s excellent reputation is evidenced by numerous prestigious awards gracing the walls including Hawaii Newspaper Agency’s Ilima, Honolulu Magazine, Honolulu Weekly, Zagat Survey, Goumet Magazine’s Top table, and America’s Best Thai Restaurant by Bon Appetit Magazine. Keo’s Thai Cuisine cookbook is on the international best-seller list.

Centrally located in Waikiki, Keo’s is within walking distance from all Waikiki hotels, Keo’s features casual elegant dining with a tropical garden ambience. Stunning flower arrangements and Bronze statues complement the original artworks displayed throughout the restaurant.

Guests are often surprised to find that Keo’s is more affordable than any other restaurants of its caliber. Keo explains his establishment’s unwavering popularity for all these years: “it’s not from doing extraordinary things; it comes from consistently doing the ordinary thing extraordinarily well. Once the customers come into our restaurants, we know that they will come back.” It is good food and value that make Keo’s so popular among our locals and our tourists for all these years.

Waikiki has a 30 foot movie screen on the beach. It is really a great idea and also there is food to eat as you watch the movie on the sands of Waikiki beach. Located near the Honolulu Zoo. There is a website with more information: http://www.SunsetOnTheBeach.net
