Hip Chicks Do Wine - Portland, Oregon

Hip Chicks do Wine is making fun wine and wine fun at their urban winery in Southeast Portland, Oregon.
In August of 2001, they opened their not so ordinary winery in a not so ordinary location. An industrial district, tucked in between Reed College, Crystal Springs Rhododendron Gardens and the Brooklyn Train Yard, is home to several artists, a micro brewery and the chicks phat, funky warehouse turned winery.
The wine goddess, Laurie Lewis, and the Wine Maven, Renee Neely, want to reach out and grab a market the wine industry has largely snubbed - Generation-X and beyond.
To entice these cocktail slugging, thrill seeking, microbrew-guzzling trendsetters, Laurie and Renee came up with an extraordinary and unforgettable name for their winery, Hip Chicks do Wine.
Their winemaking style is focused on the grape, so their wines are very sippable with or without food and ready to drink now, no cellaring required.
