Granja-xocolateria La Pallaresa - Barcelona, Spain

granja-xocolateria-la-pallaresa.jpgGuest Author: Debbie Dubrow

Get Your Chocolate Fix at Granja-xocolateria La Pallaresa in Barcelona, Spain. This old fashioned chocolateria, located just off La Rambla, serves fresh churros along with rich, puddinglike (and not overly sweet) chocolate to dip them in. Not interested in chocolate? You’ll also find wonderful pastry and Crema Catalana (similar to creme brûlée ). The atmosphere here is very casual, and Granja-xocolateria makes the perfect place to stop after a long day of sightseeing. Kids and parents will both be comfortable here (and what child would not be on their best behavior with the promise of churros and chocolate.)

Yum! I love chocolate and churros. Too bad I missed this tip as I was in Barcelona last summer.

This is a fun blog and I found it on Twitter. I’d be happy to post a fun thing you should do if you like horseback riding on the beach in Mendocino, CA.

I would love that Nancy. Send me an email at thingsyoushoulddo@hotmail.com
I’d love to have your suggestions.

Chocolate and churros is the best ever, not only in Barcelona though. Another cool thing to try are the fried squid sandwiches in Madrid! (bocadillos de calamares)
