Favorite Restaurant Maine

How’s this for my fav restaurant in Maine:

The premise is simple: Food that loves you back. But how does Frankie & Johnny’s Natural Food Restaurant in Cape Neddick, Maine, fulfill the promise? An easy recipe of home-cooking, fresh products and lots of love.

The restaurant is a local favorite and while it’s not on the coast or overlooking the famous lighthouse, it’s perfectly poised in the backwoods of Maine. A quick chat with the owners reveal a love story that’s lasted more than 20 years. He loved to cook, she loved his food, and the rest is history.

There’s something for everyone on this menu. Start with the lobster ‘purses’ (crab rangoon, lobster-style) and the baked portabello and mozeralla mushroom. Entrees are huge enough to share, but if you want to savor every bite for yourself don’t miss the chicken marsalla or the pork chop. The pasta is homemade, and everything is made to order. If you’re a fussy eater, no problem: Frankie & Johnny are happy to work with your discerning tastes.

Here’s the best part about the restaurant: All ingredients are local to Maine. You can rest assured when you’re dining with Frankie & Johnny that the food you’re devouring is locally-grown and pleasantly perfect.
