I grew up in Boothbay Harbor where my parents owned a restaurant for many years. I still work in the restaurant business and I enjoy being able to send friends and tourist to a place that is wonderful such as Five Islands. The only "negative" comment would be so many dogs on the wharf with customers. I am truly a dog lover, but it was hard for our children and guest to eat with the barking and dogs running around the deck. We will be back again and again, terrific food and the view such as theirs is hard to find, the employees were great as well!! The food here is amazing and the view the same!
