Santa Barbara Patriotic Association for the Return of Kabooms to Light the Sky for Everyone SPARKLE believes that the Fourth of July is a day to celebrate our American Heritage, honor our active and veteran military personnel, and be sure that everyone, especially our children, understand what Independence Day is about. They need to know why we celebrate, what those kabooms bursting in the sky represent - A generation who fought for and died for the freedom of future generations. It is truly electrifying to be on the beach, the awesome fireworks in the sky, people holding American flags, the sound of the public reacting to the intensity of the display. 80,000 people come together in a display of love of country and community.
