Located inside the Commodore Hotel, the
Red Room is a sexy spot for a cocktail.

Drenched in hypnotic plush red decor, the Red Room evokes the decadence of the big city lounges of a lost era. Serving grown-up cocktails nightly.

Let somebody arrange your good times with 3 Babes and a Bus

What is 3 Babes and a Bus? We are the original nightclub tour company in the Bay Area. Our party bus company was started by three enterprising women in December of 1990. There are many companies that have followed us, but none that have equaled us.

What the tour includes:
Pickup at a convenient Union Square location. Ruby Skye @ 420 Mason Street between Post and Geary.

Transportation to an additional three of San Francisco's hottest nightclubs on a fifty+ passenger luxury bus with party tunes.
VIP entry at the door.
No cover charges.
Fun and games.

You may stay at the last club or go back to Ruby Skye at 1:30am.

Some Testimonials

Had *Fun*Fun*Fun last Saturday night on 3 Babes & a Bus. Our guide, Jazz entertained us with her wit and dry sense of humor. We sang, got crazy, and enjoyed all the clubs we went to (dancing on podium & in cages, getting down w. the band). Our bride to be, Cheryl, got drunk off her *SS, but it was all good as we weren't driving !

This is a fabulous service and I am telling all my friends what fun I had & want to plan my upcoming birthday party using 3 Babes !

Marina w/Cheryl's bachelorette party

Hi Pam,

I want to take this opportunity to say that the Saturday night spent on your tour was the best time I've had in years and I would certainly do it again and recommend it to anyone I know (and even anyone I don't know). :-)

Again, thank you, Paul.

Pam,

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour! As forty-somethings we wouldn't have ventured into these clubs on our own, but felt very comfortable with the group. We also met some great people on the tour. 3 Babes and A Bus is probably one of the best and most unique experiences we've had while on vacation.

Thanks again for a great time!! Steve Harkins

I love The Ramp - in the morning or in the evening!

For down home food on the old waterfront, head over to the Ramp... In spite of it's local popularity, the Ramp still maintains it's aura of being a well kept secret.

People from all walks of life converge at the outdoor patio restaurant to bask in the sun, watching world ported ships tug-boated to and fro, enjoying the hearty portion of American food. On the weekends, from May thru October, the crowd dances to the beat of International music while the BBQ is smoking.

The funky patio is an urban oasis, situated next to a working boatyard overlooking San Francisco Bay!!!

The Riptide, built in 1941, has the look and feel of a small town lodge and is labeled as San Francisco's Tahoe by the Sea. In addition to rustic brick flooring and high ceilings, the original knotty pine walls and raging fireplace add warmth you can feel as soon as you step inside.

The Riptide opens daily at 4 P.M. If you’re looking for a casual atmosphere and a conversation or two with the locals, stop by for Happy Hour from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. featuring honest drink specials.

At night, you might come across live bluegrass, jazz, blues, solo acoustic, piano and country music. Or, if you like to dance or just rock out, we have DJ's spinning soul, old school, punk, metal, and ska. Check the calendar for events or just wander in anytime.

The Riptide also boasts of having the best damn bar staff in the Bay Area, not to mention voted Best Fireplace and Jukebox. It's only 15 minutes from the heart of San Francisco, one block away from the Pacific Ocean, close to public transportation and there's plenty of free parking.

Smokers, check out the outdoor smoking lounge with ocean view. Just watch out for the L-Taraval...

My pals Stacey and Marlene really love their champagne. This looks like it might be just the place for them!

Ideally located on a historic block of Montgomery Street close to North Beach, the Financial District, and Union Square, The Bubble Lounge is a truly unique gem among San Francisco's nightlife. A sibling to the original Bubble Lounge in the chic TriBeCa district of Manhattan, this location opened in the spring of 1998 as the first West Coast establishment to offer such an extensive selection of bubbly from around the world. This is the "ultimate champagne source" where "champagnes can be discovered and enjoyed", a perfect choice for any occasion. Since its premiere in spring of 1998, The Bubble Lounge continues to be one of the hottest night spots in all of the Bay Area for both natives and tourists, champagne connoisseurs and novices alike...

The Bubble Lounge's decadent menu is mirrored by its luxurious interior décor. The entrance leads into an extravagant main room with high ceilings and the building's original brick walls decorated with champagne collectibles and artwork. Ten inviting salons are furnished with satin couches, overstuffed chairs, rich mahogany, and marble tables - all under the soft, warm glow of candlelight. Downstairs is The Krug Room, an even more intimate space reminiscent of traditional champagne cellars with a private bar. The ambience is elegant, yet very comfortable, welcoming to a wide range of guests from the young professionals after work to the stylish and fashionable of late night.

The World's Best Bars recommends Trader Vics

Trader Vic's

Trader Vic’s, the granddaddy of Tiki bars, first opened in San Francisco the 1950s. It returns to the Bay after a long absence, during which time it appears they called in the decorators. One side of the room is done on a Captain’s Table theme; the other has a wall covered with wild orchids. Overseeing everything from the centre of the room is a wooden Tiki standing sturdy as a totem. Tiki drinks are an art form and although Vic’s can be pricey, their Mai Tai is always superb, and they do claim to have invented it. Other concoctions from Pina Coladas to Stingers are also not to be missed. To soak up all the rum, you might want to snack on Crab Rangoon or the pork ribs the kitchen prepares.
