SF 49ers NFL Tickets

I was there the day of “The Catch”. It was, surprisingly, my first professional football game. My second was the Super Bowl. Anyway, back to the Stick. The game was close with the Dallas Cowboys, but the Niners were marching down the field. Back then, I was a travel agent, and on a whim I had booked 40 airline tickets roundtrip from San Francisco to Detroit for the Super Bowl. If we scored, I was going to escort a tour group of some of my favorite people, the fortyniner faithful to the Niners first appearance in the Super Bowl. Without consciousness, I got up from my seat, moved to the aisle, kneeled like I was at my First Holy Communion and prayed for victory. A few minutes later was “The Catch” Montana to Clark and we all were Super Bowl bound.
