Tours
We would love to share the experience of Rose Story Farm with you! Please come visit our 15 acre farm any time during the rose growing season (the middle of April through the end of November). We feature 18,000 stunning rose plants in 150 varieties in our fields at the base of the Carpinteria Valley foothills. Blooms rotate in six-week cycles, so over three quarters of the roses will be in majestic bloom for your visit.
Tours are scheduled every Wednesday and Saturday (unless a Special Event is being held).
Tours begin at 11.00 a.m. and run approximately 1 hour, followed by a picnic lunch in the garden.
Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat, as this is a Walking Tour.
No smoking, pets, or video camera equipment allowed on Tours.
We regret that we cannot accommodate people who drop in hoping to join a tour at the last moment. We recommend that you telephone the farm in advance to check availability for particular dates. This allows us to give you intimate tours through the rose fields and it better helps our guides talk to you about our varieties and rose growing techniques. Each walking tour is followed by a catered gourmet picnic lunch in one of our garden areas, complete with farm made dessert and ice tea blended with rose petals.
If you are interested in a custom-designed tour focusing on your favorite rose themes, these can be arranged on a limited basis. We can also tailor your lunch menu to incorporate some of your favorite fare.

Tours are $35 per person, payable in advance via check or any major credit card.
Tours include Rose Story Farm’s booklet, pencil, and fresh rose samples.

If your plans change and you cannot join us, please allow 48 hours notice for a full refund.
