This year the festival returns to the magnificent Castro Theatre, where fans will be treated to 20 classic films over 10 days — more than a dozen of which cannot be seen anywhere other than the gigantic Castro screen. Not on video. Not on DVD. That’s right, the festival programmers have dug deep into vaults and archives to bring the loyal NOIR CITY audience 14 films not available in any “home entertaiment” format! The rarest of the rare!
The annual festival begins at the end of January and runs for 10 glorious (and dark) nights.
