Lake Tahoe Music Festival
25th ANNIVERSARY 2007 “SEASON OF CLASSICS”
Long known for presenting the finest classical music at Lake Tahoe, this Anniversary Season will truly be a “Season of Classics”: Classic Beethoven, Classic Jazz, Classic Broadway, Classic Rock, and more. The Season will open with our annual Gala at a private residence on the West Shore on July 19th, followed by a long-standing, traditional concert performed at Tahoe Donner Golf Range, another at West End Beach of Donner Lake and five exciting concerts at Homewood, including our Finale on August 4th. Concert information will be updated regularly on our Concert Calendar
2007 marks the 25th consecutive season of the Lake Tahoe Music Festival. Founded in 1983 by Edgar Braun, conductor of the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, the Festival has grown in scope yearly with the dedication and involvement of many local residents and businesses. With eight concerts, three scenic venues, over 10,000 expected attendees and the diverse programming ‘from Bach to Blues and Beyond’, the Lake Tahoe Music Festival remains the largest summer cultural event benefiting our local communities and a major attraction throughout the West.
